FREE FLOW STUDIO SESSIONS (UNTUTORED) - MIXED SESSION

Monday morning 9.30am to Noon
Monday afternoon 1pm to 4.30pm
Tuesday morning 9.30am to Noon
Tuesday afternoon 1pm to 4.30pm
Thursday afternoon 1pm to 4.30pm
Friday morning 9.30am to Noon
Friday afternoon 1pm to 4.30pm
Saturday morning 9.30am to Noon
Saturday afternoon 1pm to 4.30pm
 
Working with clay can be a costly business.  The tools, equipment, kilns and installation, clay and glazes are costly - not to mention the electricity to run the kilns!  Don't have space for a studio but want to work independently in a light and airy studio space?  
 
Come and use the studio and all the equipment contained therein for 3.5 hour sessions.  Price includes use of all studio equipment, throwing wheels, slab roller, tools and texture etc; clay, coloured slips, oxides, glazes, biscuit firing and glaze firing.  
 
We use Earthstone Original Clay for Throwing on the Wheel, Earthstone Handbuilding and Craft Crank clays for handbuilding. Porcelain can be used at extra cost. We have a very wide variety of primarily Amaco and Mayco Brush-On Glazes in a wide range of colours and effects to choose from to finish off your pieces. These products are good quality and in the higher range of professional products for working with clay.
You will receive a free orientation session to show you all that we have to offer together with a tour of the studio/kiln room.  You'll be shown where everything is kept.  The studio needs to be cleaned at the end of the session within the 3.5 hour timeframe back to the original state.

NB:  Clay useage will be monitored and if deemed to be outside of the usual amount an additional fee may be charged.  An additional charge may be made if cleaning is not to standard or not performed within the 3.5 hour session time.
